This set of four "Canopic Jars" was submitted to the 2022 Mandorla Art Prize. It now lays in a private collection. Modelled after ancient Egyptian funeral pieces, the collection is simultaneously playful and unsettling. The traditional four sons of Horus atop each lid have been replaced with early Japanese anime characters from "Kimba the White Lion".
